Islamabad, February 07, 2024: In anticipation of the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rolled out several voter assistance initiatives to navigate the complexities arising from recent electoral developments. Despite facing hurdles, including the loss of its iconic ‘bat’ symbol and alleged crackdowns, PTI remains steadfast in its efforts to engage with voters and ensure their participation in the democratic process.
Recent developments have seen PTI’s official website, www.insaf.pk , along with its alternative candidates’ portal, www.pticandidates.com , and voter helpline (+920516133331), blocked in the country. These disruptions pose significant challenges to PTI’s voter outreach and information dissemination efforts, particularly in the critical period leading up to the elections.
In response, PTI has swiftly adapted its approach by creating mirrored versions of its website on GitHub and launching alternate websites to circumvent blockades.
Meanwhile alternative candidates’ portal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a political party in Pakistan have been made inaccessible in the country.
According to the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI probe) test results, www.azaadvotes.com is blocked by Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) blockage method.
